The Summer Institute of Social Science at Chicago will be launched from 4 to 8 August 2024 at Kellogg Business School, Northwestern University of the United States. The Institute aims to bring together doctoral students, post-doctoral teachers, young teachers and researchers interested in computing social sciences to conduct a series of lectures, seminars, workshops, etc. Here you will have the opportunity to interact, cooperate and co-operate with researchers from around the world.

In connection with the course https://sics.io/2024/chicago, participants will have the opportunity to fully discuss ideas and research with organizers, participants and guest speakers. Guest speakers will present applicants for accreditation: doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers or young teachers (within seven years of doctoral graduation).

Participants should attend full-time English-language courses and events at Northwestern University in the United States for five days. Cost: SICSS-Cicago does not charge any fees, and participants are required to cover their own travel costs. You can submit works of collaboration with others, if you submit such works, with a brief description of your contribution.

AI+Social Science Books launched a joint initiative with Yang Kaichen, a post-doctoral researcher at Northeast University of the United States; Pei Jia-Hin, a post-doctoral candidate for the Annaburg branch of University of Michigan; Wu Yu-kyung, a post-doctoral researcher in human capital analysis at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania; and Jun-Sun Baek, an assistant professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Chicago, who is about to take up his post, starting on 24 March, at 20:00 - 22:00 p.m., on a weekly day-to-day basis, to explore the new value of the Great Language Model, the Genesis AI for calculating new ideas in the field of social science.
